Lauren recently launched her production company Peace of Cake Productions LLC. Under this umbrella she has produced The Asian Persuasion Comedy Variety Show at iO with the Foundation for Asian American Independent Media (FAAIM), as well as the web series, THRUST: Surviving Acting School and the improv team, Asian Takeout.

Her latest venture is the new comedy variety show called, Today's Specials. This show launched December 8th, 2024 and has an open-ended run on every 2nd Sunday of every month. The show takes place At Kamehachi Sushi in Old Town in their upstairs Hachi lounge. The show features talented openers from across the Chicagoland area including, stand up, musical guests, magic and more! The show begins at 7:00 PM, with doors opening at 6:30 PM so audience members can order from our special 'Asian Takeout' menu before the show. Get your tickets here.
